Interested in learning how to ride, or maybe how to ride more comfortably and efficiently?  Maybe you’ve developed an interest in a new discipline.  Red Horse Ranch Arena offers riding lessons and driving lessons.  Our lessons generally last an hour and are offered Monday through Friday with starting times of 10:00 AM until 4:30 PM, with some evenings running later.

 

We offer lessons in all disciplines of riding and driving, for all levels and all ages.  We have had students from age two to seventy-two!  Use our horses, or bring your own (current negative coggins test required).   For safety reasons, we start everybody out in private lessons with the very basics of grooming and saddling and then get into the basics of riding.   We use the fundamentals of balance and coordination of you and your horse and focus on how that applies to horsemanship and equitation to achieve the most from you and your horse.  We then work from there into all disciplines and advance as the students pace allows.  We have a large indoor arena that is heated all winter and stays quite cool in the summer, which allows us to give lessons year-round.  Our husband/wife team of instructors, Andrew and Liz Hinrichs, have years of experience instructing and strive to make your lessons enjoyable, informative and rewarding.
